Kimura Shukokai International, was formed in 1995, after the untimely death of Soke Shigeru Kimura 10th Dan.

All of the Chief Instructors were training with Master Kimura for many years prior to Master Kimura passing.

Kimura Shukokai International today is led by Master Kimura's four Senior Instructors, Shihan Eddie Daniels 8th Dan from Great Britain, Shihan Bill Bressaw 8th Dan from U.S.A, Shihan Chris Thompson 8th Dan and Shihan Lionel Marinus 8th Dan both from South Africa.

All four Shihan's, trained with Master Kimura for at least 25 years, and continue to teach Master Kimura's unique technique.

The KSI is the official International Organisation for Kimura Shukokai Karate.
